Terms of Service

By using nodeApp, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

Effective: May 3, 2026

Be 18 or older. One active group at a time. You own your content; we delete it on schedule. Don't use nodeApp to harass people. We can suspend accounts that break the rules.

1.Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and nodeApp (operated by Sulieman Vidal). By creating an account or using the App — including downloading it from the Apple App Store or Google Play — you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms (when downloaded from the App Store) and the Google Play Terms of Service (when downloaded from Google Play), as applicable.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use nodeApp. By signing up, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we discover the account belongs to a minor, we will terminate it and delete all associated data.

3.Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
You are responsible for activity under your account.
One person, one account. Do not share login credentials.
Notify us immediately at support@nodeapp.us if you suspect unauthorized access.

4.Single active group

You may participate in only one active group at a time, either as Leader or Follower. To join a new group, your existing group must have ended (expired or been deleted) or you must leave it.

5.Group lifecycle

Groups have a default 7-day lifecycle, extendable by the Leader up to 30 days.
At expiry, all group content becomes read-only.
24 hours after expiry, all group content is permanently deleted.
Manual deletion by the Leader triggers a 1-hour grace period with countdown, then hard delete.

6.Your content

You own your content. Photos, messages, task notes, and other content you post remain yours. You grant nodeApp a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the App for you and your group.

This license terminates automatically when your content is deleted (at group expiry, manual deletion, or account deletion).

7.Acceptable use

You agree not to use nodeApp to:

Harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate others
Share illegal content (CSAM, stolen IP, terrorism, etc.)
Distribute malware, phishing links, or fraudulent content
Coordinate illegal activity
Circumvent the 18+ age gate or single-group rule
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App's operation

We may remove violating content and suspend or terminate offending accounts at our discretion.

8.Termination

You may delete your account at any time from inside the App, via your App Store or Google Play account settings, or by emailing support@nodeapp.us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

9.Disclaimers

nodeApp is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs. Use of the App is at your own risk.

nodeApp is a coordination tool, not a safety service. Do not rely on it for emergency communication.

10.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nodeApp and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

11.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and the effective date above will be updated. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.

14.App Store and Google Play distribution

nodeApp is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The following terms apply when you obtain the App from these platforms:

Agreement is between you and nodeApp. These Terms are between you and Sulieman Vidal. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the App or its content.
Limited license. Your right to use the App is granted under these Terms and the App Store or Google Play "Usage Rules" of the platform from which you downloaded it. The license is non-transferable and limited to use on devices you own or control.
Maintenance and support. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App. Direct support requests to support@nodeapp.us.
Warranties. Sulieman Vidal is solely responsible for any warranty claims related to the App. To the extent the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty and you downloaded it via the App Store, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the App's purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation.
Product claims. Sulieman Vidal — not Apple or Google — is responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal/regulatory compliance, and intellectual-property infringement.
Third-party beneficiary. You acknowledge that Apple Inc. and Google LLC (and their subsidiaries) are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to the App, and may enforce these Terms against you.
Export compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
